Getting Started

I hope no one minds that I'm posting on here.  I figure if they give me access to posting then it's fair game!  I know it's like week 3 or something but I'm still "getting started"!  I'm having a hard time getting motivated to exercise.  So what are some of everyone else's exercise plans?  What works best for a busy schedule and little kids running around?  Are your plans changing since the weather has cooled down a bit?

I've started walking the mall for about an hour 3 times a week.  If anyone would like to join me I walk on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:40 to about 1:40.  I'm hoping to start a workout at home on the off days too.

So what are your exercise plans?

    My exercise routine is mostly walking. I try to walk 3x a week. I've been walking 4-1/2 miles each time. That distance takes me about an hour and twenty minutes. I have found this to be the most helpful exercise for me right now. My goal is to be able to walk around my block - which I estimate at 7-1/2 miles.

    I'm not sure what I'll do for winter. I think I'll still try to walk on nice days. I do have a couple of "Biggest Loser" exercise DVDs that I can use - but I'll admit - they KICK MY BUTT!!!

    What is everyone else doing?
