Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everyone!  I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday week.  I know I have enjoyed it, although the scale didn't like me too much!  I tried, and I did make it to the gym finally today, so I'm moving in the right direction.  This week's winner was a tie between Syndy & Jon - who both maintained their current weight without adding any!  Good for you!!!  That's a tough accomplishment with so many goodies around!

Hello everyone!  What a great week it was!  I'm so happy to report that almost everyone lost this week!  Yeah!  Good for you!!!!  Our "biggest loser" this week was Deb!  Way to go Deb!  And boy do we have a little competition going on!   Donna, Deb, and Amy are all really close for the running of the places as we head into Christmas week. There is only .45% of a difference between them! Good luck and keep up the great work!

Week Eleven Results

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  I hope you all had a great turkey day.  It would seem that we're split into two groups this week: those who reported and those who didn't.  I'm hoping those that didn't report still weighed and didn't let a little holiday cheer ruin their long term goals of weight loss.  We're in the down stretch now, and one holiday is over.  If you succeeded, keep your plan and continue to follow it.  If your plan didn't work so well, scrap it and try another.  That's the joy of weight loss!  You can always keep trying!  Good luck to everyone in Week 12!

Thanksgiving ShakeUp

Alright everyone,

It's time to shake it up and try something new!  So, here is a challenge for each of you:

Thanksgiving Workout
Beginning Monday, November 5th, complete each of the following exercises each day (Mon-Sat).  Add one additional rep to each exercise from now until Thanksgiving Day.  Your reward?  A guilt free trip to Thanksgiving dinner!

Beginning Exercises:
5 squats
4 lunges
3 pushups
2 sit-ups
1 burpee

So, day two (November 6th) you would do:
6 squats
5 lunges
4 pushups
3 sit-ups
2 burpees

And so on, and so forth, until Thanksgiving Day, when you should do:
20 squats
19 lunges
18 pushups
17 sit-ups
16 burpees
